FAQ
No, there is no limit to the number of contacts. The number of contacts and licensing is flexible so that companies of all sizes can benefit from automated contact synchronization. Only the number of SYNC NOW users in your company affects licensing.
You can choose between quick synchronization and manual synchronization. While quick synchronization synchronizes all available contacts, manual synchronization allows you to apply filters or select contacts manually. A popular option is to filter a group to synchronize only the contacts contained in it.
Quick synchronization synchronizes all available contacts.
Manual synchronization allows you to select which entries in the address book should be created, updated, or deleted. You can also synchronize specific entries from individual groups. This process takes a little longer than quick synchronization, but it allows you to control the changes precisely.
Contacts are only synchronized when the SYNC NOW application is used. Contacts are not updated in the background, so it may be useful to repeat the synchronization at regular intervals. A background update is currently in development.
SYNC NOW can be tested free of charge for the first 30 days. After the trial period expires, access to the platform will be terminated. Contacts that have already been synchronized will remain intact but will not be updated.
With annual billing, you can save two monthly payments.
You can extend or reduce your license at any time via your Azure subscription.
You can cancel your license via your Azure subscription. Please note that cancellation is only possible at the end of your selected term (monthly or annually). Cancellation during the term will take effect at the end of the term.

The application does not store any personal data, in particular no contact details. The synchronized contact details are only available during runtime and only in the browser of your device; they are not transferred to SYNC NOW servers.
SYNC NOW complies with the GDPR, particularly since contact details are not uploaded to SYNC NOW’s servers but are always processed locally. You can find out more in our application privacy policy: Go to the application privacy policy

SYNC NOW is a web application and can be used on all devices that support a browser. These include desktop devices such as notebooks running Windows, MacOS, or Linux, as well as smartphones running iOS or Android. On desktop devices, SYNC NOW is compatible with common programs such as Microsoft Outlook. On smartphones, contacts are synchronized with the native contact list.
Currently, only contact data from Entra ID can be synchronized. Extensions to other data sources such as ERP systems are being considered.
Unfortunately, there is currently no way to save overwritten changes back to Entra ID.
